But both types are loaded up with trophy-dropping infected enemies.

And for maximum speed, you'll want to target the Forsaken Stores over the Dark Hollows. If you choose to go back and sleep until the next day then return, the enemies will have respawned but not all of the loot inside the building, so it's actually even quicker to clear up, collect the Infected Trophies, and move on. Then you can either move on to the next location or go back to a rest spot, sleep until the following morning and go again. Many of the enemies in these locations will drop Infected Trophies and ultimately it should only take a couple of minutes to clear the room and grab all the loot. It's just a little quicker than searching every single body and keep popping your survivor sense to make sure you didn't miss any. Set fifteen years after the events of Dying Light, the zombies you know from free-running across Harran are a very different beast to the ones you’ll be encountering in this sequel. When they're all dead, loot the building of its materials first as often this will provide enough time for the zombie bodies to de-spawn leaving little loot bags behind for you to pick up. It's a small space with a lot of enemies and while they're not too difficult to deal with if you spend any time not attacking you'll soon start to suffer. Wait until the entire room is cleared before you start looting anything. Using melee attacks on burning enemies or those being affected by the UV light will soon dispense with them. Likewise, tossing a couple of molotovs into the crowd is a good strategy, just make sure you don't get too close else you'll take damage yourself. This is where items like the UV bars and the UV flashlight come into play, as you can use these to give yourself some breathing room to dish out your own damage. Just always remember to enter during the day.Īs soon as you crouch down and enter you'll immediately be faced with enemies who have been awoken by your noisy presence and will all start to attack.

It doesn't have to be this one, you can enter any of these locations on both parts of the map and the results will be the same. And since there's a couple outside the Bazaar in Old Villedor, even early on you have an easy place to hit. It's precisely because of this you want to visit during the day.

The game tells you to visit at night because they're a great source of crafting materials but during the day are crammed full of sleeping zombies. The quickest and most efficient farms are the small purple icons on the map, labeled such as Dark Hollow or Forsaken Store.
